Trace Adkins and wife file for divorce


Celebrities, just like many people in New Jersey, get divorced. Not all marriages last forever and even the best intentioned marriages can end.

Trace Adkins and his wife of 16 years, Rhonda Adkins, filed for divorce recently. Trace Adkins, a popular country music singer, had recently come out of rehab for substance abuse. The singer had been sober for 12 years before that. The couple have three children and Rhonda is asking for primary custody as well as child support and alimony.

Couples in New Jersey who are considering divorce should know that the process can be complicated. All situations are different and consulting with a legal professional who is skilled in divorce can help with what to expect during the proceedings. When kids are involved in a divorce, families want to know how that will affect their situation and whether they will be eligible for child support.
