Man critically hurt after SUV crashes into Wendy's

An 89-year-old New Jersey man was critically injured when an SUV crashed through the front entrance of a fast food establishment in Bayonne on Feb. 19. Authorities said the accident happened around 3:12 p.m.

Two injured in New Jersey rollover accident

Two New Jersey residents were injured in a rollover accident in Morristown on Feb. 19. The accident occurred around 11:50 a.m. at the intersection of Madison Avenue and Franklin Street. Police dispatched to the area found a two-car accident involving a Chevrolet Envoy SUV and a Subaru Legacy sedan. The force of the crash caused the SUV to overturn and land on its roof. Emergency workers were forced to cut the driver, a 21-year-old Morristown woman, from the vehicle. She was taken to Morristown Medical Center with a minor arm injury.

Vibration injuries at the workplace

Pennsylvania employees might benefit from understanding more about how vibrations at the workplace can cause injures. Whole-body vibrations and hand-arm vibrations are the two most common causes of vibration-related issues that employees may suffer at the workplace. Accident involving tractor-trailer and van leaves 2 injured

An accident in New Jersey involving a van and a tractor-trailer on Feb. 11 left two men seriously injured. The accident took place on a busy section of Route 3 at approximately 12:30 p.m. The crash caused significant traffic delays as emergency response personnel tended to the injured men and police began their investigation.

Couple awarded $3.5 million following auto accident

A New Jersey woman who rejected a $50,000 insurance settlement from State Farm after she suffered permanent neck and spine injuries following an automobile accident was awarded $2.75 million on Feb. 3. Her husband's loss was recognized as well with an award of $750,000.

U.S., New Jersey statistics for motorcycle accidents

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 93,000 motorcyclists were injured in traffic accidents in 2012 while another 4,986 died. These figures include both motorcycle drivers and their passengers. In New Jersey, 77 motorcyclists died.

Paroled New Jersey man accused of causing fatal crash

A car collision that occurred on Jan. 27 in New Jersey reportedly left a 23-year-old female passenger dead. Two others, both of whom were driving the vehicles involved in the crash, reportedly suffered injuries that were not considered to be life threatening.
